The spot of Kitesurf Paradise in Bras d'Eau - Poste Lafayette

Spot: 

Probably the best kitesurfing spot in Mauritius, a huge turquoise flat lagoon, sheltered by the reef, easily navigatable inside the reef, with wide area where you can stand with water at waist, and some waves only on the reef: ideal for beginners, freestylers wanting to improve, or those who want to learn waveriding!  All of this in a breathtaking landscape!

Wind:

The wind is a steady trade wind from 15 to 25 knots with the best orientation for kitesurfing: side on shore! On average it blows 5 out of 7 days at 4 beaufort and above. (see our “weather section”)

Temperatures:

Both sea and air have nice temperatures year round with an average temperature between 22°C and 28°C. (see our “weather section”).

How to get there:

The kitespot is located in Bras d'Eau, between Poste de Flacq and Poste Lafayette, 4km southern of Roches Noires, and 8km northern of Belle Mare village. To meet us, park on the public beach of Bras d'Eau and walk along the shore on the left until the peak in front of the Jalsa Beach Hotel.
